Beautiful - not to be overlooked!
Gibraltar Botanic Gardens (The Alameda)的点评
点评：A beautiful 'hidden gem' that I don't think many tourists know about or visit - but should!
Easy walking distance from the main high street (20-30 minutes), or local buses drop off nearby, and free to enter, it's SO worth the effort.
Lots of paths throughout the gardens, with subtle decorations and information plaques throughout, including nods to various historical events and figures. With 'the rock' as backdrop too, it's stunning!
The flowers themselves are spectaular and all of the gardens are well-maintained and cared for. 'The Dell' is lovely, although I couldn't get a close look as a wedding was taking place when I visited - beautiful!
Nice for a quick visit and walk to pass an hour or so, or easy to spend a lot longer there if you wanted to - there's a cafe onsite as well (although I didn't visit)
