So very disappointing, I'm gutted
菲利普岛自然公园企鹅游的点评
点评：I've been so looking forward to this experience, it was to be the highlight of my Australia holiday.
Unfortunately, I came away really sad that it hadn't lived up to expectations.
Firstly, too many people, you could not move. Most of these people chose to ignore the rules, and stood up constantly, took photos, and made so much noise. Totally ruined it.
When the penguins emerged from the sea, I was only able to see from a great distance, and only saw about 10 penguins. However, I didn't blame them, I'm surprised they came at all with all the commercialism of the place.
As a few previous reviews said, it was all about the shop and soft toys.
I just wish I could have closed the whole thing down, and give it all back to nature.
The final straw for me, was we were lucky to see a possum in a rubbish bin. When the gaggle of tourists noticed, they descended on the bin in huge numbers. The poor little creature was scared rigid, he couldn't escape. Made me feel sick.
