点评：VISITED TUES 4th NOV 2025 & again THUR 6th NOV 2025
My wife and I found this place a truely Enchanting Beautiful destination. The Village layout, the Buildings, Craft Shops, Cafes, Restaurants and all the History makes this place a wonderful day out rain or shine. The Prisoner shop was worth browsing around bringing back memories of the TV Series. The walks in woods was amazing as the trees were still full of Autumn colours. Lots of places to visit within and around the woods like the Dogs Graveyard, Lighthouse, and the white sand beaches. Need to keep to the signposted tracks or you might lose your way and lose time.
My wife took tons of wonderful pictures with her Nikon digital camera .... some attached to this review.
We were fortunate as being a overcast and damp day we had the place almost to ourselves.
Lots to see in one afternoon sightseeing, but our entrance was free as included in the lunch at the nearby Castle restaurant.
We loved our day so much, we rebooked it to do all again 2 days later on the 6th NOV 2026 - Lunch with free afternoon entrance Portmeirion. Our return visit later that week was just as great.
Lots of parking spaces near the entrance and no wait to get through the entrance. The entrance booth was manned by a lovely man named JOHN MARPLES. He quickly gave us our afternoon tickets in exchange for the voucher we received after our lunch.
As so little people about John was kind enough to give us some of his time to answer our questions, and even gave us some extra local knowledge. Thanks again John.
We can't wait to return to do it all again in June and October 2026.
PS. The two lunches we had at the Castle during the week were very yummy .... especially the Welsh Rump Steak.

我们非常喜欢那天的行程，所以又预订了两天后的2026年11月6日再次体验——午餐包含下午波特梅里恩城堡的免费入场券。那周晚些时候的再次到访也同样精彩。
入口附近有很多停车位，而且无需排队即可进入。入口处的工作人员是一位名叫约翰·马普尔斯（John Marples）的和蔼先生。他很快就用我们午餐后获得的代金券兑换了下午的门票。
由于当时人不多，约翰非常友善地抽出时间回答了我们的问题，甚至还分享了一些当地资讯。再次感谢约翰！
我们迫不及待地想在2026年6月和10月再次体验这一切。
附：我们在城堡享用的两顿午餐都非常美味……尤其是威尔士牛排。
