点评：Gjirokaster is a cute little city, with lots of character.
The roads and paths are uneven and slippery so decent footwear is needed. Hence wear proper footwear with support in them.
There are lots of cafes, bars, restaurants,ice-cream shops, shops selling similar products and selling craft products.
You can use Lek, Dollar and Euro. It's strange that a lot of products are advertised with Euro prices. You can use a card but a lot of places prefer cash. I would recommend going to places with a proper priced menu and items with prices on them as the prices may vary otherwise.
People are friendly but it took me six people to find out where the post office was and the person who knew worked for the Gjirokaster post office- he was a post man.
There is a tourist office but I found the girl in it as useful as a chocolate tea pot. It is a private tourist office she told me so not sure what that means- they don't need to know the information or don't have to make an attempt to help you!?!? I would not go there😞
The streets are very full between 1pm and 4pm as that's when your buses get dropped off.
I would recommend two to three days here max or a day trip from Saranda/Ksamil.
