点评:We have visited the tramway every year since 2022 when we stay in Estes park. It’s a wonderful and fun thing to do in EP. Never had to pay to park to simply ride the tram. This year we stayed in grand lake vs EP- I paid approximately $150 for 3 teens to ride- my husband and I just sat and waited. We were required to pay for parking this time: approximately $8 for 4 hours. Our teens were finished with the tram in an hour and our plan was to walk to town to an establishment (.4 miles) to get ice cream and then browse a couple of shops. We had no intent to abuse the 4 hour park time. When we started making our way to town there was a sign (below the lot, where you could ONLY see it once you started walking to town) that indicated “no parking while going into town”. Ridiculous. Don’t make your customers pay for parking that includes a 4 hour time frame if you aren’t going to abide by it. Charge $1 per hour such as $2 for 2 hours- there is no way it would take more than 2 hours to do the tram including checking out the top shop and views. To me, this seemed like a trick to make more money. Make it clear on the website first that you cannot walk to town if you park in the lot and people wouldn’t have to pay for parking twice- and perhaps park somewhere in town and THEN walk to the tram. We won’t be back.
