A Nice Half or 1-Day Visit
天坛大佛的点评
点评：I booked return ticket of "Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car" at Klook online for a standard cabin HKD228 on a Sunday. On return around 5pm, there's quite a queue and I was told by the staff that I could upgrade to a crystal cabin (no queue) with HKD35 only. A good deal but I didn't try and queued up for the standard one for less than an hour.
Apart from climbing up to the Buddha statue, there're other things to do in the area. I tried the vegetarian combo at HKD150 (yes, it's rather expensive) and wandered at some souvenir shops. There are other other eateries of better price, western and Chinese. A Starbucks coffee and convenient store too.
One can take public bus to go to this tourist spot from the Tung Chung metro station. So, can try different vehicles on either way.
I spent one whole afternoon here and it's a nice and cozy place.
