点评：We stayed in the RV park area. Only 9 spots, but 5 appeared to be permanent with nice and informative people. We were in Site 3, level and long enough for our 40’ motorhome and tow. Very loose structure.! Even a close gated area for barrel horses, we could let our dogs run OFF LEASH!! We asked if we could used our metal detector, said no problem, cover and return to original state when done. There is a beautiful creek , with shaded swimming areas for kids on site, just down the road! Such an amazing RELAXED environment!
If you are interested, the camping sites surround the original slave quarters community. There isn’t much to see but an old brick step area for a home and upon closer look, little details will reveal themselves. There was a fire destroying most of it. Let your imagination be your guide. There are 50-75 unmarked graves on site for the slaves. All of this is in addition to the greater noted historical buildings and the family who occupied it.
