Lovely experience, great photos

点评：I bought tickets online in advance to secure the time and date I wanted to go.
Upon arrival, I saw we had to pay for parking. I used the Ringgo website to pay, but had to clarify with staff that we were ok to stay beyond 9pm as our booking was for 8pm. They said they don’t change the timings on Ringgo for events but allow parking until they close.
The view of the hall upon our walk towards the event was stunning. Really beautiful. The trail was signposted well.
We purchased a hot chocolate for my partner who wanted to warm up a bit, £4 something for a small machine made drink, nothing special, but really small!
The staff were really helpful, offering to take photos on our phones when we’d queued up.
It got busy at certain points, I was a little surprised to see lots of small children at 8pm onwards but that’s ok. Only one family let their children push past everybody who was waiting their turn to pose for photos!
I noticed some of the lights weren’t working which was a shame. But overall the lights were beautiful, and the trail ends at the castle, which has a beautiful show projected onto the walls.
I bought a fridge magnet and a bauble for my Christmas tree. Shame there wasn’t a Christmas lights specific one but see my photos for what I got.
Overall, a worthwhile experience and some great photos.
