点评：Easy to make reservations, pleasant and friendly check-in and onboard team. Lounge car is updated and comfortable. Luckily, since the car wasn't full I was able to move from my assigned two-seater booth with a view uphill to a four-top with a view downhill.
One of the things I enjoy about train rides is the stories and history that usually go along with them. The speakers are up in the tall ceiling, so difficult to catch everything in a quiet environment. As others have noted, where you sit and who joins you in the car will impact your experience. Unfortunately, I didn't have a quiet environment. I had a toddler who screeched and screamed and banged a cup on the table, accompanied by five adults who were unable or unwilling to control this behavior. Not at all what I expected in paying for a premium car. This went on for the entire 2.5 hour ride. Eventually towards the end, an older gentleman with the group (grandpa maybe) left the lounge car for an extended period of time. I thought about doing the same, but then why did I pay extra for this "comfort"?!
It would be nice if there was an age restriction, and also if there was an app or other way to hear what is being narrated.
