Dumfries Museum and Camera Obscura的点评
点评：Excellent place. From the outside, it doesn't look a massive museum, but inside it certainly gives the feeling that there's so much to see and do. And there is! I was impressed by how many different subjects were covered throughout the building. Each area is simple to navigate, but there are signs and maps to follow if you need it. There's also plenty of interactive aspects too, which is good for the kids and the adults; from getting to touch and feel some objects, to trying on clothing, to playing with puppets and ink stamping animal footprints. There's a good amount that will keep people engaged. The exhibits are interesting and have a variety of unique items that you won't find anywhere else. I enjoyed the observatory building itself and from near the top, you can get some lovely views of Dumfries. Outside there are also a few nice things to look at. Carparking only has a number of spaces but there's no charge. The museum is free, although you can do the camera obscura for a fee. That's something I'd like to do on another visit. Would definitely come back.
