Tarpon Springs Aquarium and Animal Sanctuary的点评
点评：We decided to give this place a try after seeing that they had a 20% off sale for Florida residents advertised online. Since we had read reviews and knew the venue would be small, we didn't mind paying $23.19 for the three of us. However, we were shocked to find out that the entrance fee was actually $89, and after applying the 20% discount, we were told it would be $89.
The lady explained that each ticket was $28.99 and that after the 20% off, we would save $5.60 total . However, this didn’t seem to make sense, as it didn't align with the advertised 20% discount. We genuinely want to support small businesses, but this felt like a rip-off.
When I pointed out the discrepancy, the lady claimed that the website hadn’t been updated correctly. I showed her that the site indicated the sale was valid until the end of June 2025. She then mentioned that the register might not be up to date. When I asked how she could resolve this issue, she requested the receipt and insisted that the 20% discount was applied correctly.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience and felt like a significant overcharge for such a small venue.
