Absolutely spectacular - a San Diego must-do!
中途岛号航空母舰博物馆的点评
点评：We booked directly through Midway.org and paid $39 per adult and $29 per child. We bought tickets online weeks in advance since we were going on July 4th and I knew it would be busy. We arrived very soon after they opened (a little bit after 10 am) and didn't have to wait in line. It wasn't too busy for the first hour but by 11 am it was pretty packed. We stayed nearby at the Embassy Suites so we could just walk over and leave our car in hotel parking and that worked out well.
The volunteers were all so friendly at the Midway Museum. We had just visited Pearl Harbor one week earlier and we were really impressed with the USS Midway Museum. We did the self-guided tour and liked that we could explore on our own at our own pace. We walked through the inside areas of the ship first to see the below deck exhibits because we knew it would get busy and harder to walk through these areas as the morning went on. Then we checked out the hangar deck, flight deck, gift shop, and cafe. Getting a glimpse into the daily lives of the sailors downstairs -from the tiny bunk areas to the massive galleys - was fascinating. The veteran docents on board are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and eager to answer questions.
We spent about 2-3 hours exploring but easily could have spent more time here. It’s highly engaging for kids and adults alike. Wear comfortable walking shoes because you will do a lot of exploring. Highly recommended!
