点评：We were staying in a nearby town and visited Framingham mainly for the castle. We spent longer than intended in the castle local history museum as it was so interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour as well as a walk around the moat and grounds. Then back for a cup of tea and cake. Both male and female toilets were easily accessible and the tea room had great cakes and hot meals. The video in the room about the history of the castle is amazing and very clever (also funny). To think the castle was once owned by the Duke of Norfolk (Thomas Howard) whose two nieces were wives of Henry VIII and both beheaded (Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard). Thomas is buried in the local church as well as Henry Fitzroy, King Henry’s illegitimate son. The paper band given on entry gives you access to the castle throughout the day.
