Framlingham Castle的点评
点评：We visited Framlingham Castle as part of our trip to Suffolk/Norfolk.
We arrived quite soon after opening and were able to take advantage of the free car parking. The entrance is easy to find and there were people to advise us.
The Castle entrance is inside the last remaining building, here we picked up an audio guide. We were directed to a walk through exhibition, with video presentation, about the history of the castle. After this we ascended to the castle walls and walked around them. There are numerous information boards with audio guide support. The views are excellent. There are numerous 'Tudor' chimneys, some originally functional, others for effect! The guide continues around the castle precinct.
We discovered this was when Mary I raised her banner and started the process of taking the Kingdom back from Lady Jane Grey. Another piece of the Tudor puzzle!
After a cup of coffee in the lovely tea room we ventured outside the castle and walked the old moat. The audio guide supported this, but there was more reliance on the information boards.
