Historic Tram along the Town Front

点评：Wonderful vintage trams and run by very friendly volunteers. Commentary is provided as you make your 7.4 km journey from the depot, along the front up to the Water Tower and back. There are several stops along the way at some of the town’s attractions. To make the most of your day ticket, plan your visits to the attractions to coincide with the tram taking you to the next stop or returning to the depot. I would recommend the 10:00 am tram to maximise your day if you plan to stop off.
At the Memorial Lookout at the end of the line, the tram will give you time to visit the lookout overlooking the bay. We visited the Military Water Tower (recommended) and caught the next tram to return.
The driver even stopped when koalas were spotted in the trees.
Options to sit in the covered tram car, or the outside one (blankets available).
There is a small museum, shop and model railway display at the depot. Plenty of parking (including caravans), with toilets as well.
