Myrtle Beach State Park的点评
点评：Ya know Myrtle Beach usually gets a bad rap a lot of the time (a lot of times justified.) I was expecting my visit here to be disappointing. I arrived on a Sunday around 2, Mother’s Day no less. I know this place can get crowded and they have to pause letting people in but wasn’t the case for me. Lots of parking spots. There is camping but I was just here for the day. Fee to enter was $8 (I was flying solo.) This included access to come and go during the day. I found a nice parking spot in the shade. The beach was a bit crowded but I was still able to find a spot away from the crowds. There’s a lot to choose from here. The fishing pier is free. There is a nice gift shop with an ice cream counter as well. There are some nice trails that go pretty deep in the woods where you’d never know the beach was nearby. The trails are all very well marked and maintained. The water was great. Some nice waves breaking allowing for some body surfing. There is a nice boardwalk that hugs the coastline. I just can’t say enough nice things about my visit. I imagine the summer gets a lot more crowded especially on weekends so maybe it doesn’t feel as calm and quiet. But for me on this day it was just what I needed.
