Fun but challenging course with a great staff

点评：What a beautiful, fun, fair but challenging course. We spent two weeks with plans to play 3-4 rounds at a few courses on Kauai which is our annual custom, but we started at Puakia purchasing their fantastic weekly card and never bothered to play anywhere else. The course was in good condition that rewards good shots, but can penalize you for wayward shots, especially around the greens which are not easy to navigate. A shot a bit too long can result in a lost golf ball in the jungle or a putt a bit slightly too hard may glide 15 feet by the hole. There are picturesque par threes and a never-ending beautiful backdrop of the surrounding Kauai mountains. However, what we were most impressed with was the staff. The Pro Mike and his wonderful staff were fantastic. Super nice people that went out of their way to take great care of us. They were all accommodating from the shop to the staff cleaning our carts. We had a great time, and we played more golf than we originally scheduled due to the best rates on the island. The average price of our rounds was $70, and it never took longer than 4 hours to play. They even have a weekly pass with club rentals at around $90 per round We highly recommend playing here. You cannot beat these rates to play this beautiful layout and again just a great staff.
