So lucky to have this gorgeous park nearby!

点评：I live very close to this park, so I walk through it nearly every day, and I honestly never get tired of how beautiful it is. It is also in such a convenient location, very close to the town centre and plenty of shops, and the Leam Boat Centre is only a short walk away too, so there is plenty to do nearby. The park itself is gorgeous, with beautiful trees, colourful flowers, fountains and a wonderful sensory garden. There is also a glasshouse to explore, as well as a lovely café serving some really delicious food.
One of the best things about the park is that admission is completely free, so it is perfect whether you want to properly explore or, like me, simply walk through as part of your day. At a slow and relaxed pace, it usually takes me roughly 15–20 minutes to walk through, although you could very easily spend much longer here if you stop to admire the flowers, visit the glasshouse, sit by the fountains or go to the café.
I particularly recommend visiting during the spring and summer, because this is when the park looks absolutely stunning!! The flowers become soooo colourful and vibrant, and even though I walk through here nearly every day, I still love seeing how everything changes throughout the different seasons. Naturally, sunny days can make the park considerably busier, so the crowd levels really do depend on the weather and time of day.
The staff I have come across have always been really lovely, although despite walking through here all the time, I'm honestly still not entirely sure where the actual park staff are usually based 😂! The staff in the café are especially friendly, lovely and very patient, even when the café gets extremely busy.
My only major criticism would be the public toilets, which unfortunately are often kept in a really terrible condition. The floors can be messy with toilet paper scattered around and also tend to be wet, which is such a shame considering how beautiful and well-kept the rest of the park is.
Overall, I feel very lucky to have such a beautiful park so close to home, and the fact that I choose to walk through it nearly every day probably says quite a lot! It is especially wonderful for anyone who loves flowers, gardens and a relaxing walk, and I would highly recommend visiting in spring or summer when everything is beautifully in bloom.

我遇到过的工作人员也都非常友善可爱。虽然我经常从这里经过，但说实话，我还是不太清楚公园的工作人员通常都在哪里工作😂！咖啡馆里的员工特别友善、可爱，而且极有耐心，即便在咖啡馆极其忙碌的时候也是如此。
我唯一比较不满的地方就是公共卫生间——可惜它们的状况往往糟糕透顶。地板上到处都是碎纸屑，还经常湿漉漉的。真可惜，毕竟公园的其他区域都如此美丽且维护得很好。
总的来说，我很幸运能在家附近拥有这样一座美丽的公园。我几乎每天都会去那里散步，这一点就足以说明一切了吧！对于喜爱鲜花、花园以及悠闲漫步的人来说，这里简直是天堂。我强烈推荐大家在春天或夏天来游览，那时百花齐放，格外迷人。
