点评:A stunning facility which pays respect to all of the allied pow’s and indigenous workers who were brutally treated and killed by the Japanese while constructing the Thai Burma railway.
A tranquil but haunting place where history becomes reality.
Highly moving to me coming from a military family, and having several family members participating in WW2.
I placed a small Union Jack at the sight to honour those who perished.
It left me in tears just to see the remnants of the suffering. In a world where most could care less about the struggles for freedom, and are more concerned with tv, social media, or themselves it is in my opinion a must see.
Most Thai people are unaware of this time in history which took place in their country.
If you care about history come here to learn and pay your respects.
An incredible place to see.
