Nice Area of Colmar but Bad Shop Experience

点评：This is probably the most picturesque area we encountered during our day trip to Colmar. It is located in the southeast corner of the old town area and near other landmarks like the Covered Market, Old Customs House and the Tanner's Quarter. It is a short walk form here to the centre of Old Town here too. We spent about 20 minutes walking through and took a few pictures. We did quite a few stops during a self guided tour of Colmar and Little Venice was towards the end as we worked our way through a loop of Old Town starting and finishing at Parc du Champ de Mars to go to/from the train station. The walkways are pretty narrow here and we visited while the Christmas Markets were open so this area was very busy as people roamed between Christmas Markets.
We popped into a cheese shop by a restaurant called La Fleur de Sel and we do not know if it is temporary but we had an issue and would consider this a tourist trap where they will try to sell cheese in large quantities and overcharge. We had no problems or issues with any vendor or shop staff in Colmar except for this one shop so be aware in this area. We did find a shop that sold similar cheese we wanted a short walk away with reasonable prices. There are other nice shops and cafes in the area as well.
