Beautiful Cairngorm views from heritage train

点评：We were passing Aviemore and stopped to charge the car, so thought this railway looked an appealing way to pass time.
We enjoyed a very scenic 1h45min round trip to Broomhill via Boat of Garten stations. The train stops at each for 5-10 minutes, you can get off for longer and catch a later train if you rather but we stayed on.
The staff were all so kind to my son, we booked a wheelchair space and it was very peaceful in our carriage. I liked the squeegees on each window for colder days (the signs said the steam heating can be damp!). The trolley service went up and down, we enjoyed our tea and crisps.
There was a really handy laminated leaflet on our table that explained the sights to look out for - other heritage railways should do this, it was a great idea. We saw the embankment where the branch line used to fork off, and the house made of railway sleepers.
Full marks to the volunteers and staff, you should be proud of your lovely line!

桌上还有一份非常实用的塑封宣传册，上面介绍了沿途值得观赏的景致——其他历史铁路线路也该效仿这种做法，这真是个绝妙的主意。我们看到了当年支线铁路分岔处的路堤，还有用铁轨枕木建造的房子。
给所有的志愿者和工作人员满分！你应该为自己可爱的作品线感到骄傲呀！
