点评：We’ve been members for years and live very locally to this site and always been very supportive of it until recently. Unfortunately it has become less appealing over the years and even more so in recent months. This may not affect everyone but if you’re a family hoping for a playground don’t waste your journey or money. The more mature staff are rude in the house and not keen for children to enter. The playground is now virtually non existent. The climbing frame, slide, swings and tunnel have all been removed (the swings haven’t been there for years, they’ve just left the frame) nothing has been replaced. The staff say there is a lack of funding and they won’t be replaced anytime soon. All that is left for children to play on is a rusty rotten old seesaw and a sliding horse which has been there for decades. The gardens are beautiful but if you require entertainment for the kids don’t bother. It could be absolutely fantastic again if there was just a little investment for families. For the price they charge for entry it’s not worth it for kids. You very much get the impression that they would rather welcome retired parties only!
And in the summer you have to park at the top of a very long steep hill and battle with the kids/prams bikes up it on the return to the car park.
