点评：We stayed a couple of nights at Craggy Range in the Chardonnay Cottage - what a wonderful experience. Attention to detail in the cottage was 11/10 - pure luxury and a magical view that framed Te Mata Peak and a lovely bottle of Craggy Range Sav Blanc as part of our package to watch sunset by. Top end appliances, underfloor heating a beautifully room show, great Wi-Fi and water pressure and a fireplace for the evenings. Lovely bed and sheets. Fantastic photos of the vineyard on the wall - all in all excellent interior design.
Breakfast was provided - best still local products so a big thumbs up! Top end Antipodes still and sparkling water ... you'll be getting the idea now this is a top end and one-off experience.
The Craggy Range Restaurant food and service was excellent but let down by a slow kitchen - it's nice to have time between courses, but waiting 40 minutes is a stretch.
If you get the chance have a wine tasting with Michael Bancks the vineyards sommelier - 90 minutes of heartfelt passion around wine and the back story stories behind Te Kahu and Aroha wines - good to see Te reo making its way into the vineyard.
All in all, a fantastic two days and need I mention the wonderful dark sky!
