Swimming competition - great experience
Melbourne Sports Centres - MSAC的点评
点评：I'm an elite competitive swimmer based in Melbourne and I come to MSAC for swimming competitions every so often - generally an average of 5-6 hours. I'm not sure about the admission fee because that's covered in the Swim Vic competition entry fees when they hire MSAC but I'm sure if you can find it on their website.
The change rooms are great especially if you find the right ones - the downstairs ones next to the indoor competition pool may get dirty during swim comps just due to the sheer amount of swimmers but the ones near the learn to swim area are pretty clean. They also provide hair & body wash in all the showers, and always stock soap and paper towels. Plenty of charging outlets. Female bathrooms also have free menstrual products which is amazing.
Due to the unevenness of the floor tiles sometimes the outdoor/indoor pools will have puddles on the water but mostly that's because of swimmers drying off/tumble turns etc.
There are a lot of staff that are happy to help you with questions and the front desk is helpful. Some cleaners appear to be doing close to nothing but I assume if they're on shift but have cleaned everything they can without disturbing the swim comp that's all they can do.
Great facility for not only competitive swimmers but learn to swim and recreational fitness as well.
