Most Delicious Strawberries - A Fun Family Day

点评：It's a farm! Come expecting mud.
I love to support local and Belluz has a lot to offer year-round. We've attended in the fall for the corn maze and Witch Walk, and in the summer for berry picking. The produce you get here is incredible, though you will pay a bit extra for the quality.
Strawberry picking: you book time slots online a few days in advance (sometimes they have walk-ins), but saskatoon berries and peas don't require bookings. The season is short so don't delay! Early to mid July is a great time to visit.
You need a basket with a clearly labelled volume - or you can buy a basket on site. We were assigned a row to pick from (or rows depending on how many baskets you want to fill - and I must admit that the quality of berry you get is entirely dependent on the row selection. My husband and I got an excellent row full of fresh, ripe berries - the sweetest we've ever had! But a family of four on the row next to us had barely anything in their basket and struggled to fill it even with un-ripe berries.)
The cost is about $30/basket this way, but the amount of strawberries you get is at least 3x as much as the largest one at the grocery store, and the quality is significantly better.
It was a lot of fun.
