Haldon Belvedere (Lawrence Castle)的点评
点评：Our stay at Lawrence Castle was an extraordinary setting for a short break in Devon. Set in a rural and secluded location near Dunchideock, it offers some of the best views across Devon, stretching towards Exeter and Dartmoor. It was such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and the castle itself is incredibly unique.
The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We were provided with wine glasses and binoculars for taking in the views and stargazing. The penthouse apartment also included comfortable armchairs, a table and chairs, a TV and Wi-Fi. Everything was clean and spotless when we arrived.
Downstairs, the entrance hall provides an excellent overview of the history of the castle and its surroundings, which I would definitely encourage guests to take a look at.
The grounds around the castle are beautiful and perfect for picnics, photography and walks, with easy access to Haldon Forest Park. We also enjoyed exploring Devon and visiting some lovely nearby restaurants.
The evenings were one of the highlights of our stay, spent stargazing and enjoying a glass of fizz on the roof — a truly memorable part of the experience.
I could not recommend a stay at Lawrence Castle more highly.
