Great network of hiking and cycling trails around the Wakitipu Basin

点评：This is an expansive network of around a 150 km of walking, hiking and cycling trails between the Lake Wakatipu throughout the Wakatipu Basin that you can enjoy in and around Queenstown. We recently did the Full Day Wine Tasting cycling tour between Arrowtown and Gibbston country, following the trail along the Arrow River to the Kawarau River and through Gibbston, taking in the historic Kawarau Suspension Bridge and and AJ Hackett Bungy Centre as well as making various stops at wineries with cellar doors along the river and SH6.
The trails in these areas are in very good condition, well signed with directions and surrounded with beautiful environs throughout. There are many rest stops, minor attractions and opportunities for photo opportunities. We enjoyed using e-bikes to help cover ascends and cover greater distance with ease and we appreciated the quality bikes, instructions, maps, dropoff and pickup transportation and overall support by Around the Basin Bikes Queenstown who we rented from on the day. Would happily use this operator again for cycling along the Trail again in the future.
