The Engine Shed的点评
点评：Visited here for a children’s dinosaur event with my husband and 5 year old.
The event staff emailed us in advance with information on directions, parking etc. They informed us that there’s now app payments for parking and told us what the app was called (RingGo) so that we could get registered before we arrived. I do advise getting the app downloaded, get registered and input all your details including your bank details to avoid fussing about when you arrive. There’s a short walk from the car park to the entrance. See photo.
The staff from the event were amazing. Could not of asked for better! Welcoming, friendly, polite, helpful, funny…
The Engine Shed staff seemed polite enough but I barely spoke to them.
On arrival there was a queue. It was long enough that it went back to the main entrance which had an automatic door. We were stood in front of it and were utterly frozen.
When we went in to the stage area we noticed that it was a little warmer but still felt pretty cold. So I kept my coat on inside which quite a lot of us did.
Whilst waiting for the event to start, I looked up at the lights. The amount of dust and cobwebs up there was horrendous. It was utterly filthy and needs cleaning. I’d would have thought that this was done once or twice a year.
The event was great.
The building, not so much.
So my criticisms are the indoor heating, queuing area/auto door and the ceiling.

进入舞台区域后，我们感觉稍微暖和了一些，但仍然很冷。所以我像很多人一样，在里面也一直穿着外套。
在等待活动开始的时候，我抬头看了看灯光。上面的灰尘和蜘蛛网多得吓人。简直脏得一塌糊涂，急需打扫。我原以为一年至少会打扫一两次。
活动本身很棒。
但建筑本身却不怎么样。
所以我要批评的是室内供暖、排队区域/自动门以及天花板。
