Deer Harbor Charters的点评
点评：Deer Harbor Charters and Trey Vore was something else entirely. Trey’s knowledge of not just whales, but the flora and fauna of the San Juan Islands was astounding, entertaining and highly educational. He shared stories, told jokes, answered and asked questions, and had a real gift for reading the water and knowing where to go.
Watching a pair of humpbacks brought me to tears and genuinely shifted something in me. They kept a respectful distance, followed the guidelines for wildlife viewing, and made sure everyone had the best view without ever disturbing the animals.
The boat was comfortable and well kept, and the crew was friendly and attentive. Trey made us feel less like tourists and more like guests on an adventure he was excited to share, AND he took and shared amazing photos so we could stay fully engaged in the moment.
I came out of the day with a full heart, memories I’ll treasure, and an even greater appreciation for these incredible animals and the waters they live in. If you’re anywhere near Orcas Island, don’t skip this. Book it, bring layers, and prepare to be amazed.
