I purchased a dress, veil and alteration services, after being in the store for over 2 1/2 hours and repeatedly saying I needed to leave to think. The sales tactic is to wear you down until you say yes, so be aware. The next day I rang in tears, asking what to do, they offered an exchange, which I agreed to, and I came back but found no alternative. They offered verbally to refund the unused services (in accordance with law) but would not do so at the time. I asked for credit across the store for the remainder, but they needed management approval, which was later refused, along with a retraction from management of the offer to refund the services. Many email exchanges later, I have no money, no dress, no veil and have made an application to NCAT, which by the look of other reviews, will be a lengthy process.
