5 day, 4 night camping safari with It Started in Africa

点评：My partner and I just arrived after a 5 day, 4 night camping safari with It Started in Africa. It consisted of the Serengeti, Ngonrogoro crater and Tarangire.
It was an incredible experience and even though I've been to Tanzania before, in a way longer safari, I have never seen some of the things I got to see with Jerimiah driving us around. Baby cheetahs, baby lions, baby elephants, lions hunting, wildebeest fighting, two leopards you name it! He was also very attending to our wants and needs and we noticed a huge effort to try to make things running smoothly and on time. Incredible how on a 5 day safari we got to see the big 5!
We had a really specific plan on Tanzania, we first went to a NGO to volunteer with Hyenas, near Karatu in a very hard to reach town, and then we wanted to go on a Safari to see wildlife in action. It Started in Africa were incredibly accommodating for our situation. They were the only ones who modified the itinerary to fit out pick up location, picked us up at the camp we were staying in, and left us directly at the airport on time (without a overnight stay in Arusha, so we enjoyed every single Safari day to the fullest!)
Besides that, Jeremiah kept the car in impeccable condition and drove us around safely and without any issues.
Every trip eventually has some ifs and buts. Besides some poor campsite facilities conditions (sort of out of ISIA reach); here, the biggest downside was the difficulty sticking to schedules, with around 1h of delay every single day... This might as well be a cultural shock, for living in a country that takes punctuality very seriously... and it eventually got better, but I wish my daily requests were enough, instead of having to get "mad".
Nevertheless, the guide, Jeremiah, was really helpful and put a bit effort into making things run smoothly, and was even helping the cook get everything ready on time (which was the origin of our problems).
