Beautiful and challenging (at times) walk from the sunset viewpoint to Cavusin and got

点评：We got a taxi to the sunset view point at the eastern end of the valley then hiked through to Cavusin, had lunch there and got a taxi back to Goreme. This was a good way to do it as it is predominantly downhill and you finish in a town so it’s easier to get a taxi.
We saw all the key churches and got a sense of red valley, then had a bit of an adventure on the less used trails to Cavusin. Be warned - there are a couple of steep passes where a but of rock scrambling or gravel sliding is required. We did it with 9 & 10 yr old kids so nothing too scary but not just a walk down a well formed path.
There are also trails going everywhere and inconsistent signage so use Gaia or AllTrails or some other GPS app to work out where your going and the nav isn’t too hard.
