I would highly recommend visiting the castle :)

点评：I visited Löwenburg Castle and the rest of Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe on the 30th of October. The castle is definitely worth a visit, it's a beautiful castle in a beautiful location. I booked the guided tour, I already read online that the tour was only in German, which I personally don't have an issue with, I understand bits and pieces but I'm nowhere near fluent, the man at the ticket counter also made me aware that the tour was only in German and gave me a brochure which included English and a picture of each room you go to. On the tour I was the only native English speaker, the tour guide went out of his way to explain bits and pieces to me separately in English which I didn't expect and really appreciated. The tour guide and ticket man couldn't have been nicer, they made me feel very welcome and they're clearly passionate about what they do and the history of Kassel.
It's a shame that the castle has some negative reviews due to the visitor's lack of a bit of basic research, such as complaining that tours are only in German, when it's clearly stated in multiple places. I also read a few reviews in the past complaining about things like scaffolding being up, restoration is a necessity to keep these places alive, so it's a shame that people can't use common sense to figure this out.

城堡因为一些游客缺乏基本的了解而收到一些负面评价，这很可惜。比如，有人抱怨说导览只有德语，但实际上城堡在很多地方都明确标明了这一点。我之前也看到过一些评论抱怨城堡里搭着脚手架之类的东西，但修缮是让这些地方保持原貌的必要措施，所以有些人连这点常识都理解不了，真是令人遗憾。
