点评：The monastery is a small building on top of an almost mountain like hill. It's a site that is well maintained and is obviously still used by locals and tourists alike. It's roughly 300 steps up a hill from the car park, that is free, near the top. It's a steep incline and many of the steps are slippery. So I would recommend wearing decent shoes and taking lots of water for the ascent. It is manageable especially with breaks.
The actual monastery is small but free to enter. There are also items that can be purchased at the top. It doesn't take that long and I wouldn't spend more than half an hour at the monastery or looking at the views.
The views do eclipse the monastery. The high view point gives you such a wide ranging view of Rhodes and its surrounding scenery. It's definitely worth visiting just for the sight of the island.
