Recommend route from Beaune to Santenay

点评：If I was rating the route from Beaune to Santenay this would be a 5. I was grateful to those who write blogs about their experiences as it was only through these we found the starting point of the route to Santenay from Beaune (it’s the porte des avaux at 9 Chem. des Tuvilains, 21200 Beaune). From here the route is clearly marked including through the many beautiful wine villages on route. It’s a lovely traffic free ride (only agricultural vehicles allowed except through the villages). It wasn’t too busy. It was occasionally challenging. There is a leaflet at the tourist information (a velo en pays Beaunois) and once you know what you are looking for you can find on line images of this leaflet giving you an outline of many cycle routes.
We were less successful finding the route to Dijon (wanting to just go to Nuits. The route wasn’t clearly signposted from the point d’accueil véloroutes and once we had found it after only a short ride we found ourselves on D roads and alongside lots of traffic so we turned round and headed south again.
