点评：An interesting hike from the start. Nearest parking had limited spaces and the official overflow was roped off. So we had to look for alternate parking and there was an unofficial open space near the ski lift station. So the 20-minute uphill walk to the starting point started the timer and continues into the trail and back. This hike is not for the faint hearted. Lots of rock scrambling, stream crossing, metal rope crossing, balancing act on big rocks to climb higher and a set of step ladder at the edge of the cliff. This hike took us 15km 5.5-hours in/out on the same route climbing almost 600m. The starting stage was easy walking ascending and descending hill slopes. Middle, we encountered a more demanding trail with uneven tree roots and trunk and crossing of wide streams. FInal ascent was the most demanding with steel cable rock climbs and steel cable 1-by-1 cliff side crossing followed with rock scrambling that took ages because there were many people both directions on the go. Once you reach the signage you are almost at the lake. Climbing a little further I saw the cobalt blue water of the lake. A spectacle of a difference from other lakes. While seated taking pictures of the lake it dawned on me that it was so crowded and the lake was so small. That's why I called it a tough hike to be rewarded with a small prize. But it challenges the individual to be decisive and certain of each step they take to get there and out safely. The thing I dislike is during the hike we encountered a tour group of 15 tourists holding up everyone behind them trying to get others to get their photos at places like the steel cable crossing and the rock scrambling. Very inconsiderate and dangerous.
