Rutland Water Nature Reserve (Anglian Water Bird Watching Centre)的点评
点评：After living in the area 50 years ago, thought it wise to go back and see how its changed over the years. Went to the bird hides. There are a lot!. A substantial amount of walking is required to get round them all. Some have great views of the water and habitat. Some just have reeds in front of them, the smallest (robin) i think just has a small pond in is view. All the hides are sturdy, got seating, and plenty of viewing points.
You get your ticket at the visitor centre at Egleton. Only issue is, after you buy your ticket, you have to go back to your car, to put the parking permit in. The permit is also valid at the Lyndon osprey project, but you still have to pay to go to those hides.

翻译：五十年前我曾住在这里，所以觉得应该回去看看这些年这里发生了哪些变化。我去了几个观鸟屋。那里有很多观鸟屋！要逛完所有观鸟屋，需要走不少路。有些观鸟屋视野开阔，可以欣赏到水景和鸟类栖息地的美景。有些观鸟屋前面只有芦苇，最小的（我记得是知更鸟）观鸟屋前面好像只有一个小池塘。所有的观鸟屋都很结实，配有座椅，而且有很多观景点。
你可以在埃格尔顿游客中心买票。唯一的问题是，买完票后，你还得回到车里去插停车许可证。这个许可证在林登鱼鹰项目也有效，但是去那里的观鸟屋还是要另外付费的。
走了很多路，也看到了很多鸟。
