点评：What a gem of a course situated in the industrial landscape of the north-east. A warm, friendly welcome from the Pro who could not have been more helpful and even loaned one of my playing partners a driver after he'd snapped the shaft on his the day before. Clubhouse has a great selection of food and drink and the service is fast and very friendly. My group had the pleasure of playing with Lewis Marr, Chairman of the Greens Committee. Having his local knowledge was invaluable in what is a tough track where the driving lines are not always obvious. The layout (currently has 22 holes but there is a proposal to change to the normal 18) makes wonderful use of the natural terrain and it is well bunkered in all the right places to catch those errant tee shots and approaches. The Greens take some reading and beware if you get above the pin, especially with wind behind. We were lucky to play in relatively benign conditions but coming back into wind still posed a good challenge. Highly recommended.
