点评:While Agios Nikitas beach is very accessible in every possible way, Milos Beach can only be accessed two ways: a ferry from A N beach or a goat path from the village up,and over the mountain. We found the path arduous even in the mid-morning without the full force of the sun, but the views you get on the way down are absolutely amazing. Proper, footwear is recommended if you hike in.
Once arrived, the beach seems to stretch on for half a kilometre or more, with shady areas found along the far edge. Be aware that the farthest section that offers the best shade is clothing optional. The beachfront is all pebbles, washed smooth by the surf, and the water level drops off very quickly once you enter. Water shoes are recommended.
You can haul in beach umbrellas, food and beverages, but you can also rent palapa (20 euros) and beach umbrellas (40 euros) near the middle on the beach (where the ferry drops off), and just up the slight hill is a drink and food shack. Small bottles of water were 1 euro each, which is not unreasonable given the lack of options. We didn’t try any of the food or price it out.
Another warning: there are no washrooms nearby, so the nearby bushes up the hill seem to be used quite regularly and TP is scattered throughout the area. Careful where you walk.
