The Spa At The Athenaeum的点评
点评：We last came here about 6 years ago for afternoon tea and spa as a retirement present . This time it was just with a friend.
It was easy to book via email and safia was so helpful from the moment we arrived.
We got to the Athenaeum about an hour early and asked if we could get a drink in the bar we were told to take a seat and someone would come and serve us . We waited and waited and no one came it was then time for our cream tea which was at 13.30 we were shown to a table given the menu and I explained I have a strawberry allergy the server was very helpful and went and asked questions we had asked. We were served 2 scones each 2 pots of jam and cream which was delicious. There was a wide range of tea to choose from. Once finished we made our way to the spa where we were warmly greeted and shown where to change robes slippers and towels provided.
We had a glass of bubbly used the jacuzzi steam room. The sauna was occupied and it is quite small only seats 2 we were called in for our treatment by our therapist disha.
My friend had a back massage and facial she said that it was the best she had had. Disha explained everything to her and what she was doing.
I had a back massage and a detox wrap it was truly wonderful by Beth it was so relaxing I was also given a head massage.
The therapist were fantastic maintaining dignity throughout although we did have a laugh as the knickers do not fit larger ladies and ripped as we put them on. The showers were very good with lots of products to use.
If I had one criticism it would be that the changing room is very small if there were a lot of people in there we had a very enjoyable day and would definitely return

我们喝了一杯香槟，体验了按摩浴缸和蒸汽浴室。桑拿房里有人，而且很小，只能坐两个人。我们的理疗师迪莎叫我们进去做护理。
我的朋友做了背部按摩和面部护理，她说这是她做过的最好的护理。迪莎向她详细解释了每一步操作。
我做了背部按摩和排毒裹敷，贝丝的手法非常棒，让人感觉非常放松，我还做了头部按摩。
理疗师们都很棒，全程都很尊重顾客，不过我们也笑了，因为内裤不适合身材丰满的女士，我们穿的时候就撕破了。淋浴设施很好，有很多洗浴用品可以使用。
如果非要挑个毛病的话，那就是更衣室太小了，如果人多的话会比较拥挤。总的来说，我们度过了非常愉快的一天，一定会再来的。
