Astir Beach is an okay beach with a few clear strengths, but also some noticeable drawbacks. The sandy shore and gently sloping seabed make it good for swimming, and the water is very clear. The facilities are generally well maintained, with clean toilets and showers, a small restaurant that is fairly basic, and a few convenient shops. Sunbeds are spaced reasonably at around 1.5–2 metres, so the beach does not feel overly crowded.
However, the main issue is the service, which is disappointing given the premium prices. Towels are provided, but there is no assistance with setting up sunbeds. Food and drink service is often slow and sometimes not available at all. Although there are many staff members present, they do not seem particularly attentive or proactive, which negatively affects the overall experience.
With better service and more efficient organisation, Astir Beach could be a much more enjoyable destination.
