Excellent Show and Auditorium, But No Hot Drinks After 6pm

点评：This venue is now called the Beam Theatre.
The show we went to see, Blood Brothers, was excellent, and the upgraded auditorium — including the seating, sightlines, and sound system — is a huge improvement and made for a really enjoyable evening.
The only aspect that let the experience down was the decision to stop serving hot drinks after 6pm. We were told this was because it slows down service before and during the show, but it seems odd that hot drinks cannot be accommodated in a theatre setting. A cup of tea takes no longer to prepare than many other drinks being served, and if the coffee machines are unable to cope with demand, perhaps alternative equipment should be considered.
Looking around the audience for this production, it seemed clear that many attendees were from the local older demographic, who would likely appreciate the option of a tea or coffee during the evening. It feels like a missed opportunity for both customer experience and additional sales revenue.
