Staged! Not natural at all
Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park的点评
点评：I was really disappointed with my visit to Jozani Forest. Unfortunately, the whole experience felt more like a tourist trap than an opportunity to see monkeys living naturally in the forest.
The monkeys seemed to be gathered in particular areas for tourists to see, and random food items like berries were scattered on top of fern leaves were seen. This made the experience feel very staged rather than like we were seeing wildlife behaving naturally in its own environment.
Personally, I came away questioning how natural the experience really was. I had expected to walk through the forest and hopefully spot monkeys in the wild, but instead it felt as though they were being encouraged to stay where tourists could easily see and photograph them.
For me, this took away from the experience completely and I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an authentic wildlife experience. The monkeys were in one small area only.
Our guide David was fab! Really lovely, perfect English and very thoughtful throughout.
