Parking is available and very easy to find you can’t miss it. The parking area is unpaved but has plenty of space.
Entrance: The entrance is easy to spot. There is a man dressed as a traditional Greek standing there. If you don’t want to take a photo or interact with him, simply walk past. If you accept a photo or other offer, expect to pay around €10. After some time, another man took his place. They seem to rotate shifts.
Toilets: Free toilets are available on site, although they are quite difficult to find. If you can’t locate them, you can also use the restaurant’s famous mountain-view toilet, but you’ll need to buy something first.
Restaurant: Be aware that the restaurant only accepts cash, no card payments.
Pyli Castle: The trail to the top can be a little difficult to find, but that actually made it a fun little adventure. Follow the green arrows whenever you spot them. The walk from the restaurant to the castle takes about 15 minutes uphill and 15 minutes back down. From the parking area, allow around 20 minutes to reach the castle.
Overall, it’s a worthwhile visit with beautiful views.
