点评：I was on my way from DeKalb north and saw the Prairie State Winery in Genoa listed in the tourism guide. So I thought I'd stop for a bottle before continuing north to my hotel. The winery wine shop is located along West Main Street in downtown Genoa, a lovely historical main street. I got there right at 12 today (Sunday) and it was a scrum just to get in, everyone wanting apparently to get to the tasting bar. I just wanted a bottle for the road. Scanning the selections, I quickly settled on a white wine with a beautiful sunflower label on it. The shop was far too busy for me to ask any questions and the lady working there didn't seem like she would like to be asked any questions, so I blindly selected my wine, paid, and left. I assume any weekday this place would be more welcoming and a better experience. I just caught the rush and well, my one bottle was probably not a priority. Anyway, a nice stop for wine drinkers traveling in the area.
