Great trip but unorganized tour group

点评：We did the self guided short walk through the Cotswolds this past September (2025). We very much enjoyed the hike and accommodations but disappointed in the tour company itself.
Very poor communications from them before trip, during trip, and when issues arose, after the trip.
They over charged me at first (refunded after I noted this). They booked 1 bed for the two of us when I requested twins or doubles for my friend and I. I did not receive copies of any of my booking information and only receipts for payments and specific itineraries after I requested a couple of times.
We never saw a guide (self guided-but no check ins or responses to calls during trip)
We saw one guide for the first 15 minutes of our tour.
The app we used to navigate was hard to use and we met several of the hikers who had briefly gotten lost on it as we did. This meant we walked additional mileage. Although, this was not too much of a problem, the mileage quoted initially was not really reflective of the actual mileage we went. It was actually quite a bit more than quoted for most of the daily hikes.
Overall the trip was great; however that did not have so much to do with tour group but rather was due to the gracious accommodation hosts and locals in each stopover.
