One of the highlights of my visit in Florence

点评：A ticket and a time reservation for this place is a must. And even with a ticket, count with about 30 minutes of waiting in the line to get inside.
It's really a lot of steps to get completely up to the top. On the other hand, I saw a lot of various people managing that, so you can surely also do it. Count with the fact that there are some narrow places. I don't have claustrophobia, but I still felt uncomfortable being stuck in a line of people at those places.
Once I and my boyfriend got up to the top, it was not clear how to get down. Some people wanted to push themselves down, in the opposite direction of those going up. After some time, a staff member showed up and told us that they let the directions change in certain intervals. It would be better to have this cleanly communicated in advance, before someone pushes themselves through the only entrance/exit at the top.
