Six Incredible Days in Tanzania with an Outstanding Guide

点评：The most important part of any safari is the guide — and we could not have asked for a better one than Azaria.
Azaria was absolutely amazing: a true professional with many years of experience, incredibly knowledgeable, polite, humble, welcoming, and genuinely a wonderful person to spend time with.
From the moment he welcomed us, he said, “Now relax, do not worry about a thing.” And from that point on, we never had to.
Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Azaria drove very carefully and always made sure we felt safe and comfortable. His ability to spot wildlife was unbelievable — he would notice animals with the naked eye that sometimes took us several minutes to find even with binoculars!
His knowledge was just as impressive. He knew everything about the animals we encountered and patiently answered every question we had, whether it was about wildlife, Tanzania, local culture, or everyday life. His explanations were detailed, clear, and consistently accurate.
What impressed us even more was how well he planned every day. He clearly thought through our routes and timing in advance, and because of that we never felt rushed or stressed. We did not miss a single thing we hoped to see — in fact, we experienced far more than we expected. Azaria seemed to know where certain animals were likely to be, and thanks to his experience we witnessed predators in action and saw the Big Five within our first three days, not to mention even two Wild beast crossings over Mara river.
It was also obvious how respected he is among other guides. Everywhere we went, people knew him and treated both him and us with great respect. He truly stood out as a superstar among the guides we encountered.
We are also extremely grateful to William, who helped us plan the safari. From the very beginning, he was incredibly quick to respond to all of our questions and always answered them thoroughly and accurately. What stood out to me was that he never skipped over or forgot a question, even when I sent several at once. Every detail was addressed carefully, which immediately gave me confidence that we were in very good hands. That level of communication and attention to detail made the entire planning process easy and reassuring.
We spent six days with Azaria, and we honestly could have spent many more exploring the beautiful Tanzanian wilderness with him. The only thing we regret is not having more time to enjoy the scenery, the conversations, and his company.
If you are considering a safari in Tanzania, search no further than Gosheni. Our experience was seamless from start to finish, and we could not have been happier.
