点评：We’ve come to Northumberland every August for a week’s family holiday for the last few years now, and we were on a mission to go to places we hadn’t been before. Howick Hall popped up, and there are particular days of the week when dogs are welcome. We decided we’d visit here and also the local beach for one of our days. We didn’t really expect much to be honest - but what a lovely surprise! I really love flowery gardens, and this place was amazing. We were lucky in that the private family garden was open as well to look at too. Multiple different gardens to look around, woodland, streams, the house; it was all very peaceful and crowd free. Super well maintained and interesting flowers, and just beautiful. We spent so much time here! I’d go back for sure. We went to Alnwick Gardens a few days later and this Howick halls planting put them to shame to be honest, the gardeners are doing a really great job here. We had lunch in the tea house and that was a real treat too: lovely sandwiches and salads, interesting teas and coffees. I had an Earl Grey obviously as this blend was created by the Grey family here. My daughter’s milk allergy was no problem when ordering. All staff were friendly and kind. It just felt like a great experience from beginning to end.
