点评：Quinta da Regaleira – all I can say is WOW, what an incredible place!
Make sure to buy your tickets on the official website and arrive on time. There is a fairly long uphill walk to the entrance, and cars are not allowed to drive all the way up.
We saw several visitors arrive about 1.5 hours late for their scheduled entry. By then it was 1:30 PM, and they were told they had to purchase new tickets. The next available entry time was not until 4:00 PM.
The system is straightforward. You can enter approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled time, but stay out of the queue until your time slot approaches, as visitors are admitted in 30-minute intervals.
Once inside, head directly to the right and follow the signs to the “Poço Iniciático” (Initiation Well). I recommend visiting this first to avoid the longest queues. You'll have plenty of time to explore the rest of the estate afterwards.
Plan to spend around 2–3 hours here at your own pace. There are several restrooms throughout the grounds, as well as a restaurant serving simple meals and refreshments.
